The Living Stones Project
Background
The church began approximately 2,000 years ago when a small group of Jewish disciples of Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Christ), gathered together and were filled with the Holy Spirit. In one day they added 3,000 more, and the church was born - a church made up of no one but Jewish people. It took nearly 15 years before Gentiles began to come to faith in numbers. When they did, they soon outnumbered the Jewish believers by tenfold, then hundredfold, then thousands upon thousands.

The goal of The Living Stones project is to raise awareness in the body of Messiah in the west about the body of Messiah in Israel. Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus the Christ, was an Israeli of the tribe of Judah. He came to the lost sheep of the house of Israel as one of them. The gospel came to the nations from Jews who believed that He is the Promised Jewish Messiah. All believers today owe their knowledge of the greatest blessing ever to those who first brought the gospel to them. Today, we have the unique opportunity in history to help bring that same hope of eternal salvation back to the very place and descendants of the people who first brought it to us.
